How does the machine switch between welding and cleaning modes?
The system uses quick-connect gun attachments. To switch modes, disconnect the welding gun, connect the cleaning gun (under 2 minutes), and select cleaning mode on the control panel. The laser source, cooling system, and control unit are shared - only the handheld gun changes.
What materials can the cleaning mode remove?
Cleaning mode removes rust, paint, oil, grease, oxide layers, weld spatter, and heat tint from metal surfaces. It does not damage the base material when properly configured. Cleaning depth and intensity are adjustable via pulse frequency and power settings.
Is the cleaning function as effective as a dedicated laser cleaner?
The cleaning function uses the same 2000W laser source, providing comparable cleaning power to a dedicated cleaner of the same wattage.
