3000W Dual Worktable Fiber Laser Cutting Machine
The 3000W Dual Worktable Fiber Laser Cutting Machine from Shandong Xinhong CNC features two independent cutting worktables positioned side by side, each with its own material clamping and support system. Unlike a shuttle exchange table that swaps one table in and out, the dual worktable design keeps both tables inside the cutting area simultaneously. The laser gantry moves between table A and table B, cutting on one while the operator loads or unloads the other - without any table movement or exchange cycle. This eliminates exchange time entirely, achieving near-zero idle time between sheets. Powered by a 3000W IPG/RAYCUS fiber laser, it cuts carbon steel to 12mm, stainless steel to 8mm, and aluminum to 6mm.

FAQ
What is the difference between a dual worktable and an exchange table?
An exchange table uses a shuttle mechanism that physically swaps two tables in and out of the cutting position - one table moves out while the other moves in, typically taking 20-30 seconds. A dual worktable has both tables permanently positioned inside the cutting area, and only the laser gantry moves between them. This eliminates the exchange cycle entirely, reducing idle time to under 10 seconds (gantry travel time only) and removing the maintenance burden of the shuttle mechanism.
Can both tables run different cutting programs simultaneously?
The laser cuts one table at a time - it is a single laser source shared between two tables. However, while the laser cuts on table A, the operator can load material and select the cutting program for table B. When the gantry moves to table B, cutting begins immediately on the pre-loaded program. This sequential operation with parallel loading achieves near-continuous cutting.
Can I load different materials on each table?
Yes. Each table can hold different materials, thicknesses, or sheet sizes within the 1500×3000mm working area. The CypCut software manages separate cutting programs and parameter sets for each table. For example, you can load stainless steel on table A with nitrogen-assist settings and carbon steel on table B with oxygen-assist settings, then cut them in sequence without reconfiguring the machine between materials.
Is the dual worktable design more reliable than a shuttle exchange?
The dual worktable has fewer moving parts than a shuttle exchange system - there is no shuttle drive, no table positioning mechanism, and no exchange cycle sensors to maintain. The only moving component is the standard laser gantry on linear rails, which is present on all fiber laser cutting machines. This design simplicity reduces maintenance requirements and improves long-term reliability.
What is the total machine footprint?
The dual worktable machine is approximately 5800×2500×2000mm - wider than a single-table machine due to the two side-by-side tables, but shorter in depth than an exchange table machine (which requires space for the shuttle to extend). The enclosed design includes dual access doors on opposite sides, allowing the operator to load from either side depending on workshop layout.
