2000W Industrial Fiber Laser Welder

The 2000W Industrial Fiber Laser Welder from Shandong Xinhong CNC is engineered for high-volume automated welding lines where repeatability and throughput matter. The fixed scanning head design integrates with standard robotic arms for automated welding of repetitive production runs. It achieves 5mm penetration in stainless steel and 4mm in aluminum alloys with minimal spatter and a small heat-affected zone. Dual-mode operation supports both continuous wave and pulsed welding parameters, allowing operators to optimize joint quality for thin-to-thick material transitions. The integrated vision system with laser alignment crosshair ensures precise joint positioning before each weld initiation.

Buyer Pain Points & Solutions

Manual welding bottlenecks in high-volume production: Hand welding can't match the cycle time of automated lines. The fixed scanning head with robotic arm compatibility enables 24/7 automated welding of repetitive joints, eliminating the throughput ceiling of manual operations.

Inconsistent joint positioning: Manual positioning leaves gaps that cause weld defects. The integrated vision system with laser alignment crosshair verifies joint position before each weld, ensuring the beam hits the exact seam every time.

Material transition quality drops: Welding thin-to-thick transitions with a single parameter set produces weak joints. Dual-mode CW/pulsed operation lets you switch parameters mid-program for optimal penetration on each material thickness.

Core Advantages

Fixed scanning head with robotic arm compatibility - Designed for integration with standard industrial robotic arms. The fixed head maintains precise beam positioning during automated welding cycles, delivering repeatable joint quality across production batches.

Dual-mode CW and pulsed operation - Continuous wave mode for deep penetration on thick sections; pulsed mode for precise heat control on thin materials and heat-sensitive assemblies. Switch between modes within the same welding program.

Integrated vision system with laser crosshair - A camera and laser alignment crosshair project the weld target onto the joint before initiation. The operator or robot verifies alignment visually before the weld starts, reducing misalignment defects.

5mm penetration with minimal spatter - The 2000W fiber laser achieves deep penetration in stainless steel and aluminum with minimal spatter and a small heat-affected zone, reducing post-weld cleaning and preserving material properties.

Adjustable weld speed (0.5-2.0mm/s) - Weld speed adjusts based on material thickness and alloy type. Slower speeds for thicker sections ensure full penetration; faster speeds for thin sheets minimize heat input and distortion.

FAQ

What is the difference between continuous wave and pulsed welding modes?

Continuous wave (CW) mode delivers constant laser power for deep penetration on thicker materials. Pulsed mode alternates between high and low power, reducing total heat input for thin materials and heat-sensitive components. The dual-mode system lets you switch within the same welding program for parts with mixed thickness requirements.

Which robotic arms are compatible with the fixed welding head?

The fixed scanning head is designed for integration with standard industrial robotic arms using common mounting interfaces. Contact us with your robot brand and model to confirm compatibility and discuss integration requirements.

How does the vision system with laser crosshair work?

A camera mounted on the welding head provides real-time video of the joint area. A laser projects a crosshair onto the workpiece at the exact weld target position. The operator or robotic controller verifies alignment before weld initiation, reducing defects from mispositioned joints.

What materials and thicknesses can the 2000W welder handle?

Stainless steel up to 5mm and aluminum alloys up to 4mm penetration. The system is also suitable for other metals including titanium and copper alloys within reduced thickness ranges. Welding speed adjusts based on material type and thickness.

What support is provided for European OEM buyers?

European buyers receive full technical documentation, CE certification, spare parts availability from regional distributors, and on-site commissioning support. Operation manuals and operator training are included with every machine.
