Electronics subcontractor: thin brackets cut tooling-free on 1500W
Who: a precision electronics subcontractor in Northern Europe cutting 0.5-2 mm stainless and carbon steel brackets and shields, about 30 staff. Machine: Xinhong 1500W fiber laser cutting machine, 1300x2500mm bed. Problem it solved: thin-gauge parts needed burr-free, oxide-free edges for direct assembly, and the shop's punching tools were consuming tooling budget on every design revision. Before: tooling cost and lead time for each revision, plus deburring on every batch. Now: revisions cut directly on the 1500W platform at +/-0.03 mm without tooling changes. Where the numbers come from: the 1500W product specification (CS to 6 mm, +/-0.03 mm accuracy, 1300x2500 mm bed, water-cooled) and the buyer's own sample-cut report on their 1 mm and 2 mm brackets; the tooling-cost comparison is the buyer's own accounting and is not a performance guarantee.
Application based on customer feedback; individual results depend on materials and production conditions.
